The 4-Step Dental Implant Process
- Comprehensive Evaluation – At your complimentary dental implant consultation, Dr. Combs will evaluate your mouth and diagnostic images to determine whether you’re a good candidate for dental implant surgery. In some cases, patients may require preparatory treatments before they can move forward with receiving dental implants.
- Personalized Treatment Plan – After you are confirmed to be a good candidate for the treatment, Dr. Combs will develop a personalized treatment plan that she’ll walk you through. That way, you know what to expect during your journey.
- Implant Placement & Healing – After placing the dental implants, you will undergo a lengthy healing and osseointegration process that will take about three to six months. We will also attach small metal abutments to the top of your dental implants and begin the process of having your permanent prosthetic crafted.
- Attaching Your Final Restoration – After we receive your permanent prosthetic from our dental laboratory, we will have you come back into our office to attach it to your dental implants.
